Video Editing Personal Projects
Content creation is something I am extremely interested in and want the opportunity to work with more. Especially in Public Relations, specialists are always working to find the best content for media posts and publications.

I've worked on a couple different video compilations or projects for personal enjoyment in the past. One of my favorites and most successful was the recreation of a music video by Indie artist Still Woozy. I found parallel outfits and locations and organized the whole production.
Afterwards, I cut and edited the whole video clip by clip. It was reposted by the artist and received over 127k views.
The second video is an edit I created from the show "Cowboy Bebop." I went through every episode and collected all scenes of the characters smoking. I then compiled the clips together and set the transitions to music.

Creative Writing Samples
I wanted to include some examples of my writing that are a bit looser and more fun than typical Communication styles.

The first is an essay I wrote for a class called "Sixties in America." We were tasked with writing about a 1960s historical event as if we were experiencing it ourselves.
I decided to take the voice of a fashion magazine journalist attending the Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus in 1968. I researched old Esquire articles to apply a similar style, and typed the essay with columns, fonts, and pictures that might actually be found in the magazine at that time.

The second feature is the lyrics to a song I wrote and performed with my band from home. We gigged this tune, titled
"Rust Belt Boogie," at the Green Beacon Gallery in Greensburg, PA.

The last writing sample is a paper I wrote this spring for my Cyberpsychology course. The assignment was to extend on a new technology we covered over the semester, but the format was left up to us.
I wrote a letter to my future self asking her what VR has evolved into and offering predictions from my position of 2024. This ended up requiring much research, with entire pages of references, but it was a lot of fun to complete.
